Kindred Creatures – Moonlit Companions

Moonlit Companions emerged from a place of sadness and reflection on conflict.  As the work evolved, a gathering of creatures appeared – owl, galah, moth, dragonfly and butterfly – each bringing a quiet sense of comfort and reassurance.

Set among moonlit poppies, symbols often associated with remembrance, the painting became less about loss and more about the healing presence found in nature.  It speaks to those moments when companionship, however unexpected, helps transform sorrow into peace.
